Applying Protocol
Step 1 - Applicant Applies for the Position
Accesses the desired job listing webpage and reviews the contents.
Selects the Apply for this Job button from the job listing webpage.
Enters, selects, and uploads information appropriately before submitting their application into the Company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This can include:
First and Last Name.
Email Address and Phone Number.
Home Address.
Resume and Cover Letter.
Date Available.
Desired Pay.
Social Network Profiles and Website.
Highest Education Obtained.
Referrals and References.
Standard Hiring Questions.
Applicant’s Gender, Ethnicity, Disability, or Veteran status (Optional).
This data is not available in the applicant’s profile. Data is grouped in with all other applicants and is for generating Hiring reports only.
The application has been added to the Company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Step 2 - Application Arrives
Upon successfully being submitted by an applicant, their application will appear in the Company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
The ATS will assign the applicant a Candidate Status of New.
While the applicant’s Candidate Status remains New their name and information will appear in bold, even when their application is viewed.
Step 3 - Applicant Receives Confirmation Email
Upon successfully submitting the application the applicant will receive an automated “Application Confirmation Email” from the Company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This confirmation email will include:
Job Opening Name.
Link to the Company’s Applicant Privacy Policy.
Link to the Company’s Applicant FAQ.
Link to the Job Opening Applied.
