Dress Code Policy

Introduction

In its effort to maintain a professional aircraft component manufacturing and repair environment, Dow Aero, LLC (“Company”) has developed this policy to outline requirements for specific dress code and Company provided uniform requirements for the maintenance shop.

Scope

This policy applies to any authorized individual performing aircraft component manufacturing and repair capabilities within the Company’s maintenance shop environment.

Policy

In accordance with Company-wide Dress Code policies, as defined by the Human Resources (HR) department, the maintenance shop implements the following additional requirements:

  • Appropriate individuals are to wear Company logo or provided top apparel (e.g. T-Shirt, hoodie, etc.) and blue or black jeans).

The following positions are required to maintain accordance with this policy:

  • AMT Accessory I, II, III, and Senior

  • AMT Painter I, II, III, and Senior

  • AMT Structures I, II, III, and Senior

  • CNC Machinist I, II, III, and Senior

  • Inspector I, II, III, and Senior (Quality Assurance)

  • Production Manager and Senior Production Manager

  • Project Engineer I, II, III, and Senior

  • Production Engineering Manager and Senior Production Engineering Manager

  • Quality Engineer I, II, III, and Senior

  • Quality Engineering Assistant I and II

Affected employees are to dress in accordance with the proceeding requirements prior to initiating any mechanical work or immediately upon arrival to a shift when visitors are expected. The approved clothing shall remain worn until the end of the appropriate employee’s shift.

Should any questions, concerns, or issues arise please contact a direct manager or supervisor, or a member of the Operations Management. Likewise, you may reach out to any of the individuals mentioned above in the event you are uncomfortable or unable to maintain compliance with this policy; reasonable accommodation shall be examined and implemented as practicable.

Acceptance

This record was developed and is maintained by the Company’s Human Resources (HR) department in collaboration with Maintenance and Engineering department leadership. Policies outline within are approved by Operations Management.
