How To - Beneficiaries

The following will assist you with adding, modifying, and deleting your primary and secondary beneficiaries from the BambooHR web portal.

Adding Beneficiary from Web Portal

  1. Login to your BambooHR profile from any web browser.

  2. Select the My Info tab near the top of the page.

  3. Select your Benefits tab (if not already selected).

  4. Go to the Primary Beneficiary or Secondary Beneficiaries table.

  5. Select +Add Primary Beneficiary or +Add Secondary Beneficiaries and fill in the necessary information.

  6. Select the Save Changes icon that appears at the bottom of the page.

    • Unless Human Resources, you will see a brief notification on the top of the page notifying you that the request has been submitted.

    • Human Resources will receive this request, review, and approve the requested change to your beneficiaries. You will be notified once a request has been approved or may be contacted by Human Resources if more information is needed to process the request. Additional documentation may need to be completed for this request before approved.

Modifying Beneficiaries from Web Portal

  1. Login to your BambooHR profile from any web browser.

  2. Select the My Info tab near the top of the page.

  3. Select your Benefits tab (if not already selected).

  4. Go to the Primary Beneficiary or Secondary Beneficiaries table.

  5. Hover over the Primary Beneficiary or Secondary Beneficiaries entry you wish to modify before selecting the pencil icon that appears.

  6. Edit/remove the information you wish to modify.

  7. Select the Save Changes icon that appears at the bottom of the page.

    • Unless Human Resources, you will see a brief notification on the top of the page notifying you that the request has been submitted.

    • Human Resources will receive this request, review, and approve the requested change to your beneficiaries. You will be notified once a request has been approved or may be contacted by Human Resources if more information is needed to process the request. Additional documentation may need to be completed for this request before approved.

Delete Beneficiaries from Web Portal

  1. Login to your BambooHR profile form any web browser.

  2. Select the My Info tab near the top of the page.

  3. Select your Benefits tab (if not already selected).

  4. Go to the Primary Beneficiary or Secondary Beneficiaries table.

  5. Hover over the Primary Beneficiary or Secondary Beneficiaries entry you wish to modify before selecting the trashcan icon that appears.

  6. From the Delete Row window that appears, select the Yes button.

    • Unless Human Resources, you will see a brief notification on the top of the page notifying you that the request has been submitted.

    • Human Resources will receive this request, review, and approve the requested change to your beneficiaries. You will be notified once a request has been approved or may be contacted by Human Resources if more information is needed to process the request. Additional documentation may need to be completed for this request before approved.
